Advocating on behalf of the interests of New Hampshire’s forestry industry is a critical part of the NHTOA’s mission. In town halls throughout New Hampshire, in the Statehouse in Concord, in meetings with elected officials and representatives, and in Washington, D.C., the NHTOA fights for landowner rights and for a sustainable, economically productive forestry industry.

The NHTOA’s e-newsletter, Forest Fax, includes up-to-the-minute information on new legislation and regulations of interest to landowners, foresters, loggers, sawmill operators, and all those who support our industry. (Forest Fax issues will be added to our new website soon).

Click here for a list of current proposed legislation in New Hampshire of interest to the forestry industry. See the Forest Fax archive for older proposals.

If there is legislative or regulatory issue you’d like the NHTOA to focus on, please contact executive director Jasen Stock.
