Fundamentals of Forestry - online event

Course Content: 
This is an online workshop will give loggers a better understanding of forest management and appropriate applications of silviculture.  Course content includes discussion/powerpoints on historical events, current status of New Hampshire forests, Silvicultural principles of New England, Forest types, landowner goals and objectives, tree growth/maturity/vigor, forest regeneration, wildlife habitat, harvesting systems,  and loggers function in silviculture.

Once registered you will receive an email with the login information. If you do not receive this email within 24 hours please contact the office at info@nhtoa.org or (603) 224-9699.

You will need to login to the website, create a user name and password, and watch all of the video modules and finish the quizzes relating to each section. Once those are completed we will send a certificate.   (Directions on how to set up a login at the UNH extension website click here)
