Join Us For The 30th Annual Loggers & Truckers Convention
Saturday, October 22, 2022 •
5 - 8 p.m.Town and Country Inn, Gorham, N.H.

The New Hampshire Timber Harvesting Council (NHTHC) cordially invites you to join us and celebrate the logging profession with loggers and truckers from across the state. With generous support from the forest products industry, the Loggers & Truckers Convention brings together the logging community to discuss current policy issues, socialize, and recognize the new graduates of the New Hampshire Professional Loggers Program.

The guest speaker for the evening is Bill Torrey, known as one of the best loggers in the state of Vermont. He began his woods career when he was sixteen and for the next forty years spent his days under the canopy of the forest. When his first book, The Ta Ta Weenie Club was published, Bill’s Oral Storytelling career caught fire. He has won numerous storytelling competitions including five N.P.R. Moth StorySlams and has performed on the Moth MainStage in Boston. His latest book, Cutting Remarks- Forty Years in the Forest, chronicles his life earning a living from the forest.  Explicitly told experiences of what it truly requires physically, mentally, and morally to slay tall timber from the wooded ridges of Vermont where his family has lived since 1767.

Registration opens at 5 p.m. and the program begins at 6 p.m. Dinner, auction, and raffles.

Advertising/sponsorship opportunities and booth space to display equipment are still available. Proceeds support the Professional Loggers Program. Newly certified and recertified loggers will be recognized.
