School Programs
Our school presentation starts out by giving viewers a historical overview of forestland in New Hampshire then introduces the concepts of managed forestland and working forests. It also introduces the audience to the people who work to conserve our forestland and teaches the processes involved in today forestry. It gives our viewers a base of knowledge so that they can move forward to further discover New Hampshire’s working forest community. The NHTOA will not only show a video presentation to help further your knowledge of working forests but will also get your students involved with Wooden You Know an interactive game show designed for kids to learn about tree farms and working forests in a way that’s lots of fun. We’ll also make sure your presentation is given by an industry professional who will be there to answer questions.
There are also workshops available for students to participate in, tours they can take, and many other opportunities to learn about our working forests. (must be a group of 15 or more).
